This notice explains how SterilTex Kft. ("SterilTex", "we", "us") processes your personal data when you register at our trade show stand through this page to receive a complimentary Jägermeister, and when our staff redeem your voucher at the bar.

It applies only to this event registration page (steriltex.lovable.app) and its redemption desk.

1. Who is responsible for your data (Data Controller)

2. What personal data we collect

When you fill in the registration form, we collect:

  • First name and last name (required)
  • Company name (optional)
  • Email address (required)
  • Mobile phone number (required)
  • The consents you give (see Section 4) and the date/time you gave them
  • A unique registration/QR code generated for you

When your voucher is redeemed at the stand, our event staff additionally record:

  • Whether your QR code has been redeemed, and the date/time of redemption

We do not ask for or knowingly collect any other categories of data (e.g. no payment details, no special categories of data such as health or biometric data) on this page.

3. Why we collect it and our legal basis

Issue your free-Jägermeister QR code and let you collect your Jägermeister at the stand

What we do: Store your name, company, email and phone with your registration; staff scan/check your code at the bar.

Legal basis: Your consent — GDPR Art. 6(1)(a).

Prevent one visitor claiming more than one free Jägermeister

What we do: Mark your code as redeemed once used.

Legal basis: Our legitimate interest in fair distribution and fraud prevention — GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).

Send you product news and event invitations by email or phone

What we do: Use your email/phone for marketing, only if you ticked the separate marketing box.

Legal basis: Your consent — GDPR Art. 6(1)(a).

Providing your name, email and phone number is necessary to register and receive your Jägermeister; if you don't provide them, we cannot issue you a voucher. Marketing consent is entirely optional and has no effect on your registration or your Jägermeister.

4. Your consent

Registering requires you to confirm you have read this notice and consent to us processing your data for this event.

The marketing tick-box is separate and optional. You can register and get your Jägermeister without ticking it.

You can withdraw either consent at any time, free of charge, by emailing team@steriltex.hu. Withdrawing marketing consent stops future marketing messages; withdrawing your event-registration consent will not undo anything already done (e.g. a Jägermeister already redeemed) but we will delete your remaining data unless we have another basis to keep it.

5. Who we share your data with

  • Event staff at the SterilTex stand, to verify and redeem your QR code.
  • Hosting/technical service providers that run this registration page and store the data on our behalf (currently built and hosted via the Lovable platform and its infrastructure providers), acting strictly on our instructions as processors.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with any third party for that party's own marketing purposes.

If any of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) before any transfer occurs.

6. How long we keep your data

Registration and redemption data: deleted no later than 12 months after the event, unless you have separately opted in to marketing.

Marketing contact details: kept until you withdraw your marketing consent, or until 12 months of inactivity, whichever is earlier.

After these periods your data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

7. Cookies

This registration page uses only the technical/session identifiers strictly necessary to generate and display your QR code. It does not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Automated decision-making

We do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling based on this data that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • request erasure ("right to be forgotten");
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time (see Section 4).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at team@steriltex.hu. We will respond within one month as required by the GDPR.

10. Complaints

If you believe your data protection rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian supervisory authority:
